	When once race oppresses another it sets a pendulum in motion. For a while the pendulum favors those in power. Time passes. The pendulum swings back the other direction. Those in power find that those that they had oppressed aren't going to stand for it anymore. Revolution. Usually violent and bloody. Atrocities are committed. In the name of righteous retribution. Justice. Vengeance. Acts more savage than anything that happened while they were oppressed. The oppressed become the oppressors. The pendulum swings the other way. And the cycle continues anew. The problem is that deep down, most enemies are more alike than they care to admit. We all realize it to one degree or another. For most this realization never percolates out of their subconscious. It stays there, lurking beneath the surface. Prejudice. For a while I considered it to be a failing specific to humans. After my visit to Manan and during my visit to Ryloth I have come to believe that this may not be true. Perhaps prejudice is a more universal trait than I first thought. Being on Ryloth has been an illuminating experience.
