	The force it seems, is not without a sense of irony. One of the ships that we could have purchased was the Excessive Debt. In all it’s banged up glory. Watching that ship floating in the shipyard was unexpected. It looks like Ker did not get very far when he left us on Shinning Moon Major. With so many people who wanted to talk to Ker, about money, about where he’s been, about his ship. People who would do anything to get his ship. Sooner or later, without his friends there to help, Ker’s luck finally ran out. We had the chance to purchase that ship, amongst several others. It was tempting to take the medium freighter. The price was not right. I did not want us to get another ship and acquire a debt that we would need to work off. Where we were headed, it would have been difficult to get our first payments on a loan lined up. In the end we pooled our funds, and almost penniless, we purchased the Ghtroc freighter. It’s slow. It’s lightly armed. It has shields. It has lots of cargo room. Perhaps most usefully, it doesn’t come with all of the charms of the Excessive Debt. With the Ghtroc there will be no Imperial Captain looking at it for a personal space yacht. No denizens of the dark underbelly of society crawling out of the woodwork looking for something from us only because they recognize the ship. This time, when that happens, it will be because we made a mistake somewhere along the line.
