	The alien ship that arrived was interesting. They attempted to contact the Imperials. When the Imperials responded with an offensive military action, the strangers responded in kind. I believe that the visitors were a match for the Imperials in the short term. It would be interesting to learn more about this race, their help could be crucial in finishing the war with the Empire. From what little I sensed through the force I am concerned at how quickly the visitor’s hive mind mentality chose violence. More research is warranted, and some caution. Hodrage seems to understand their language. He was amused by what they said. I would like another chance to ask him about the visitors. I plotted their exit vector from the system, perhaps we will get a chance to follow. The encounter in the temple with Hodrage and Drak’kai’ was very illuminating for Haslevlat and myself. I’ve learned that I shouldn’t announce my intention to attack when at ideal distance for missile launchers and thermal detonators. In the future I plan to wait until I’m within lightsaber distance. Haslevlat seems to have come face to face with how seductive the dark side of the force can become. When he attacks, if he surrenders to his rage and lust for battle, he can quickly fall to the Dark Side. At the last moment Haslevlat managed to rein himself in. A wake up call for both of us. Haslevlat needs more self discipline, more control if he is to learn to walk that vibroblade’s edge of combat. I will work with Haslevlat and see what I can teach.
