Masters of the Air and Space


The best of the best: the flyboys and aerojocks. From helos to zepplins to space-faring Deltas, the Pilots are the ones that get the job done. Trained to fly a variety of aircraft for their Corporate or Military sponsors, the Pilots are the ones that get the Exec to Tokyo on the Strato-LearJet, scan the streets in Police choppers, bomb their enemies from antique F-15s, cruise a Trauma Team AV through a firefight, and strafe orbital stations in excess of Mach 11. If it flies, thay can handle it.

Preferring to cruise above the deadly streets, the Pilots can be the angels of heaven to friends in need of fire support and death from above to their enemies. Rarely found too far from their respective aircraft, they can be the difference between life and death for their friends the ground-pounding Edgerunners.

The Right Stuff: Similar to the Solo's Combat Sense, the Right Stuff skill allows a pilot to add the skill number all initiative rolls in aero combat. 1/2 the skill is added to all other forms of combat (GM's call). The Right Stuff is based off the characters REF stat.


"Fly through a thunderstorm on nothing but instruments to drop a precision Brilliant Bomb on a group of pissant Third World rebels? Sure, why not? It beats the hell out of slogging through the mud on your hands and knees with a Militech Ronin strapped to your back and a big target painted on your skull.

Me, I'm a test pilot. Bigger, faster, more maneuverable--that's what I like. The more dangerous the better. I'm out there risking my skin to rip a hole in the elusive Envelope and maybe save a few buddies lives in the process.

And if I happen to "accidently" release a bomb load on a Corporate convoy sent to wipe out a Nomad Pack? Oh well, they shouldn't have taken that shortcut through the test range huh?

I'm off to pop a few missiles into some ESA Eurotrash. Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast..."
