Servants to their God(s)

The modern Missionaries, Street Preachers brave some of most dangerous places in the world to bring the words of their Gods to the people. Not voyaging up steaming rivers or speaking from glittering Mosques, but shouting their message from the crumbling concrete corners and rain-soaked rooftops on the Urban Jungle.

"Street preaching" is an ancient practice going back to the prophets of the Christian and Jewish Old Testament. These early Street Preachers proclaimed their glorious messages in the "open-air," speaking plainly to the common man. Various Church histories record that the early preachers brought the glad tidings of their religions to those outside their regular places of worship. The Street Preachers of all modern surviving religions and cults seek to carry on this biblical practice in what many believe to be the last days of Mankind.

Convert: The ability to influence or control others through the power of your faith. Similar to a Rocker's Charismatic Leadership ability, but not quite as powerful. 1/2 of the Street Preacher's Convert skill can control a group of people equal to that number squared times 200. The other half can be added to all Oratory and Perform skill roles (GM's call on a situation to situation basis). Convert is based on an average of the character's INT and EMP stats.

"Every person who... chooses the service of God as his life's work has something in common. I don't care if you're a preacher, a priest, a nun, a rabbi or a Buddhist monk. What's an official religion? Some stories passed down through the ages? What makes that official? If a belief works for a person, it's not the belief itself, it's what the belief represents. A religion is a symbol of holiness. Me? I'm a Catholic, we believe in anything that makes us nervous...

Many times in my life I have looked at my reflection in a mirror and asked myself: am I a fool? Am I strong enough to survive another day? Will I be able to save anoyone from this horrible world? Is what I've experienced out there closer to Hell, or closer to a new awakening? At times like that I just remember what old Father McReary used to say: 'If you don't help them, who will?'

Yes sir, I'm one mean Mmm Mmm servant of God."
