Corporate

The Stock-Holding Elite

In an era when the ailing Govenments are little more than Syndicate figureheads, the megalithic Corporations hold many of the reins of true power in the modern world. With fortress-like buildings and employees treated as private citizens, the multi-planet MegaCorps are more powerful than some legetimate nations.

Out of this comes the Corporate character, trying to change the way the company works from the inside. Unlike their more destructive bretherin on the street, the Corps fight their battles in the elite board rooms and over the conference tables around the solar system. Determined to make some good come out of all the suffering, many of them are lured into the Corporate fold by steady meals and a decadent lifestyle. Playing with fire just as much as any Cowboy, the Corp characterss are hitting the Corporations where it hurts--the pocketbook.

Gate Corporation

"They're using paper for all the complaints. Dammit, they're just harassing us. AND, it's a waste of valuable resources! Now the e-mail server is going down from the sheer number of complaints and there is a movement out there to sue our company for damages. What the hell are the bounty hunters doing?! We already have a huge bounty on the person responsible! I believe we have given out all the information. What more do they need to know? I am fully aware of our risk--if we don't catch him, the situation will just get worse."

"Make your report. I see... We're safe for a while, but we mustn't waste time. We have to make sure this doesn't go any further. Knowledge of this cannot get out. The corporation could fold because of it. You know what you have to do."
