Trucker

Cargo Haulers and Smugglers

The backbone of modern interplanetary commerce, the truckers and the ones that keep the goods flowing. Plying the spacelanes in massive transport ships or slogging it overland in classic semi-trucks, Truckers can be found at every outpost of humanity. If you need items moved in bulk, the Truckers are the people to talk to. Some of them might even give a lift to a few party members down on their luck.

However, not all Truckers are legit. Smuggling is a common way to make a few extra Woolongs on an otherwise standard cargo run. Many Truckers even turn to outright piracy to supplement their income. With hidden cargo holds and a few greased-palms, Truckers can make a tidy living shipping illegal goods across the solar system for discreet customers. Syndicates pay well to get their Red-Eye delivered safely, just don't get caught by the ISSP Special Services while transporting it.

"What's going on today? The place is usually empty. They're all bounty hunters? No wonder they all look so cheap. So when is it a bounty hunter's job to chase a woman's ass instead of a bounty? *punches one of them out* Really. Bounty hunters are all stupid scum. As far as I know, they're all living their lives by gambling on the lives of others."

"Hey buddy! Your shift's up? I'm off to Europa now. It's pretty good pay, but it's nothing compared to yours. I heard you made a round-trip from here to Venus in 4 days? Three days? See what I mean? Anyway, take it easy. Keep on Truckin' "
