Hackers

Net Divers

Of every technology that has infiltrated and changed the modern world, the most quintessential piece is undoubtedly the personal computer system. Those that learned how to use the technology and fit it into their lives had an instant advantage over their contemporaries--but some became truly powerful. Learning to ride the advance of new technologies like a massive wave, these people became the first Hackers. With the distruction of the Earth, the hackers who stayed behind learned to hone their skills with the many surviving communication satellites. Screaming through the Solar System Web at the speed of thought, the Hackers battle programs, AIs, and each other for the almighty datastream. Hackers can use their abilities to to do just about anything: from re-routing the delivery of a new Lexoporche to their front door, to tracking down where a bounty head is using their credit card, or slipping some hidden data to the local cops to bust open a corporate slavery ring. Hackers are a major force to be reckoned with in the modern technological world.

Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV

"I think I know, I don't think I know. I don't think I know that I know. I think I know even though I don't think I know. Yes I don't, no I do. The lesson? Hmm.. Lesson, lesson... if you see a stranger, follow him!"

Lee Samson

"Games from the 20th century are much better. I'm sick of games they make today. I'm addicted to these old-school games. Back then they were happy with only 16 colors. Same with hackers. Back in the good old days of Captain Crunch. He broke into the entire phone system with a plastic whistle! Such a small thing, but now it's part of history. Everything's so well-gaurded now, it's hard to become famous."
