Family Men and Women

The Kingpins and Crime Lords, the legendary Godfathers. From the booze smuggling Al Capone to the modern data-brokering of Staci Giovanni, the power of the Syndicates has risen to its highest point since the early 20th Century. Organized Crime and the Corporations have learned much from each other in the last hundered and fifty years, prompting massive Mob diversification into such varried industries as genetic manipulation and city-wide protection rackets. Still maintaining the Family-First attitude handed down through the generations from their original Mafia ancestors, the modern Syndicates are the closest thing that many people have to a real family--albiet a sick and abusive one.

Haven taken a beating in the last few years, the Syndicates have begun to fight back in the only way they know how: by intimidation and violence. With their fists deep into political pockets, the call has gone out system-wide for recruitment. Nevertheless, pity the soul that swears loyalty to a Don without knowing what they're getting into.

Family: The Syndicate's Family skill works exactly the same way as a Drifter's, but with a style along the lines of the Corporate Resources skill. This skill is based on an average of the INT and COOL attributes.

"You should see yourself. Do you have any idea what you look like right at this moment? You are a ravenous beast. The same blood runs through both of us. The blood of a beast who wanders, hunting for the blood of others. I told you before, there's nothing in this world to believe in... there is no need to believe."

"It's 106,000,000 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."
